Terms of Service

1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the Saymail browser extension and website ("Saymail"), operated by Hannes Heißmeyer, Ibykusweg 6f, 30629 Hannover, Germany ("we", "us"). By installing the extension or creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Saymail turns notes you provide into draft emails inside Gmail using an AI service. Saymail produces drafts only — you decide what to send. We may change, improve or discontinue features over time.
3. Accounts
Using Saymail requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for all activity under your Saymail account. You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age in your country, to use Saymail.
4. Plans and billing
The Free plan allows up to 15 generated emails per calendar month. The Pro plan costs USD 6 per month, is billed in advance through our payment provider Stripe, and renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. Usage limits and prices may change; we will announce changes in advance, and changes do not affect a billing period already paid for.
5. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days. By starting to use the Pro plan during that period you may consent to immediate provision of the service, which can cause the withdrawal right to lapse once the service has been fully provided. We will inform you accordingly at checkout.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Saymail to:
- create unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing content;
- send unsolicited bulk email (spam);
- circumvent usage limits or interfere with the service;
- reverse engineer or resell the service without our consent.
7. AI-generated output
Saymail uses an AI model to draft text. Output may contain errors, inaccuracies or wording you did not intend. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before sending it. We give no warranty that output is accurate, appropriate or fit for a particular purpose.
8. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the notes you submit and the emails generated for you. We retain all rights to the Saymail software, brand and website.
9. Availability
Saymail is provided "as is". We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and the service depends on third parties such as Google and our AI provider.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and such liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability, including under product liability law, remains unaffected.
11. Termination
You may stop using Saymail and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms; the current version is always available at this address. If changes are material we will give you reasonable notice before they take effect.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Where permitted, the place of jurisdiction is Hannover, Germany.
